The Mission

The Gaskin Brothers seek to model this commitment to giving their gifts at the highest level by building their communities through education empowerment and capital investment.

The Purpose

They currently do this through programs designed to create communities and to empower the individual. Since their founding in 2020 GaskinGives has assisted over 120 families in need through Community Engagement Programs.

The Story

Growing up, the sons of Scott and Robbie Gaskin, work was always a commandment in the Gaskin household. Additionally,it was always taught that work is love made visible and that Family comes first. These core values allowed Ivan to graduate from Morehouse College on a academic scholarship, graduating with a bachelors in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. Ivan went on to work in Technology Consulting as a means of starting his real estate business GoodDirt Realty. GoodDirt currently stewards a community of over 100 units in west and southwest Atlanta.

Myles Gaskin took the Gaskin work ethic in a different direction going on to earn a Football scholarship to the University ofWashington. There, Myles became the All-Time leading Rusher and scorer atthe running back position rushing for 5,323 and scoring 62 touchdown. Myles Performance as a pack 12 stand out lead t o him being drafted but he Miami Dolphins. As a Dolphin Myles has continued his rise eventually earning a starting spot on the roster. Myles Gaskin Football Camp

This Football Camp is hosted at Shoreline Stadium once every summer where Myles Gaskin hosts a football camp for hundreds of local youth football players.

Good Christmas

This initiative is a community unity event that seeks to provide a high quality meal around the holidays with the intention of bringing people together. A GoodChristmas also provides children and families alike with Christmas gifts in addition
to much needed funding.

Bread Basics

Bread Basics is a financial literacy program that serves to provide a basic level offinancial literacy that every person should have over the age of 16. The topics include income, savings, credit, debt, continued education and investment.

GoodDirt Day

This effort occurs once per year as a back to school event. GoodDirt Day focuses on serving children in West and South West Atlanta. To ensure that the have all that they need in order to return to school and be successful. GoodDirt Day is a community Unity event that focuses on fun and family. GoodDirt Day is also an opportunity to equip kids with the tools that they will need for the up coming school year ranging from back packs to lap tops. GoodDirt Day seeks to serve the
future by preparing the children today.

Gas Money Lotto

Is an initiative thatfocuses on honoring the local heroes with gap funding. Many times people in our community may encounter financial hardship's ranging from lack of rent, utilities, childcare or even automotive troubles. These small gaps in funding can lead to evictions, disconnections and other stressful situations. The Gas Money lotto serves as a award for those who are the mostin need. To date over 60 families have received awards of $500 or more from the Gas Money Lotto
